CRUSH YOUR DARK CIRCLES
Tips to maintaining your brooding eyes.

Ok, so strictly speaking dark under eye circles are not something you can actually crush. But metaphorically speaking, let’s crush those circles.

What’s the difference between bags under eyes and dark circles?

Bags are often caused by fat around the eyes. Dark circles under the eyes are usually a sign of bad circulation. The skin under our eyes is very thin, thus more sensitive to circulation. Making sure you are hydrated enough, have a healthy diet and follow some of our advice can help keep this important area healthy.

Different colours of dark circles can indicate different problems, a reddish hue might indicate some circulation issues, brown hues could be down to DNA and hereditary reasons. Dark circles may also be caused by allergies, so make sure you find out what/if you're allergic to anything that could be causing them.

HOW TO GET RID OF DARK CIRCLES AND BAGS UNDER EYES?

Depending on what may be causing your dark circles here are a few tips and tricks on how to leave your under eyes looking more refreshed. Start by keeping hydrated and drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day.

IMPROVE YOUR SLEEP

As we all know sleep is the cure for a lot of ailments and this case is no different. Fatigue slows blood circulation making blood more stagnate causing a red tinge to the under eyes. So, make sure you're getting at least 6-8 hours of restful sleep per night!

USE PROTECTION

APPLY SUNSCREEN TO YOUR FACE

The sun wreaks havoc on our skin, and because the skin under your eyes is so thin, it’s particularly sensitive to those harsh rays. Make sure to apply sunscreen when exposed to the sun as your under-eye area is particularly sensitive to UV rays.

STOP SMOKING

Put down that cigarette! If your under-eye area is looking a little blue and you are a smoker, the two may be related! Smoking can damage your blood vessels making them more pronounced.

Keep in mind, these tips aren’t exclusive to men, so if you’re looking to score points with your better half we can assure you that they’ll be thoroughly impressed with your new knowledge about dark circles and eye care, so be sure to share the wealth.

KEEP IT COOL

COOL YOUR EYES

The old cucumber on the eyes trick does actually work in helping get rid of bags under your eyes, equally so does putting a couple of spoons in the freezer and leaving them on your eyes for around 10 mins.

GREEN TEA

Green tea contains antioxidants and can really help your men's under-eyes. Try putting a green tea bag in boiling water for a few minutes, after letting it cool you can then put it on your eyes for around 10 – 20 mins to relieve the dark circles under eyes.
